“None of us builds anything meaningful alone. Together, we make more possible.”
On August 29th, ELM marks 50 years in business.
For me, that milestone is both personal and professional. My father started the company with an idea, a lot of determination, and the belief that if you take care of people, do good work, and keep your word, you can build something that lasts.
A lot has changed since 1976. What hasn’t changed is what matters most: taking pride in going beyond, caring about one another, and knowing that none of us builds anything meaningful alone. That’s what Rooted in Relationships means to me. And it’s what One Team looks like in real life.
To celebrate our Golden Jubilee, we’ll honor where we’ve been, look ahead to where we’re going, and spend the day with many of the people who’ve not only been part of our journey, but who continue to carry our founding spirit forward.
I’m grateful to my father, and to the landscape entrepreneurs of his generation, whose determination and belief helped build businesses like ours from the ground up. I’m equally grateful to generations that followed, bringing their own ideas, talent, imagination and heart to what came before them.
That’s what fifty years of growing what matter together looks like. And why being together to mark this moment together means so much.
Great people. Good food. Old friends. New memories. I can’t wait to celebrate together. 💚
Onward!
